Sania-Mattek crashed out from East West Bank Classic

Sania-Mattek exited from their semifinal match against the Czech pair of Eva Hrdinova and Vladimira Uhlirova from East West Bank Classic. The Indo-American pair retired in the midway when Mattek complained of a low back injury.

Seeded second at the event, Sania-Mattek pulled out from the match when they were trailing with 2-6, 1-2. Meanwhile, the Czech pair will next meet to the top seeds Chan Yung-Jan and Chuang Chia-Jung.
