Sania rose four rungs on singles chart

According to the tennis rankings released on Monday, the graph of Indian tennis players is going high only. Sania Mirza gained four rungs in singles ranking to acquire 61st position. However her doubles ranking is static to 38.

Among other Indians, Somdev Devvarman climbed four places up to 129; Rohan Bopanna earned 89 rungs to hold 358th position. Bopanna played his best tennis in recent times. He defeated world no. 51 Jose Acasuso at ATP Malaysia Open last week. However he also scared good fight to world no. 12, Fernando Gonzalez.

Teenager Yuki Bhambri also jumped seven places to 403. However there is no change in the rankings of Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes that is 6 and 8 respectively in men's doubles ranking.
