Sania exits from first round of Pattaya Open
[Sat Feb 13, 2010]Sania Mirza, who finished as the runner up last year at Pattaya Open, disappointed Indians this year by losing to a German player Tatjana Malek 6-3, 4-6, 3-6 in the very first round of the singles event.
Although she had made a good start by wining the first set, she was not able to convert that advantage to victory. A poor serve in the second and third set cost Sania the match to. It is definitely not a good run for a player, who had finished as a runner up of the event last year.
