Indian Ace tennis player, Sania Mirza was seeded top at the Aegon GB Pro-Series in Wrexham and lived up to her credit by reaching the finals of both singles and doubles matches of the event. However, she converted only one chance into victory. Sania along with Finnish partner Emma Laine defeated Brit duo Tara Moore and Francesca Stephenson 2-6 6-3 13-11 to clinch the doubles title.
Meanwhile in singles, Sania went down to a US Open junior champion Heather Watson of Briton in two straight sets 2-6 4-6. Watson, the teenager is ranked 121 places below Sania on WTA charts.
It looks like a good comeback by Sania Mirza, returning to court after her marriage to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.
